St. Mark's Episcopal Church
Marco Island, Florida

The Bell Tower was constructed concurrently with the Parish Hall Building during Phase One of the Building Program. The base of the Tower was constructed with concrete block piers, steel reinforcing, and poured concrete fill.

In the picture above, the steeple is being placed on the concrete block tower base, and the Contractor is aligning the WF steel frame of the steeple with the anchor bolts embedded into the concrete beams at the top of the block piers. The Steeple is constructed with a steel wide-flange beam frame, 4 sloped corner tubes, and horizontal girts, covered with standard corrugated metal deck and a standing seam galvalume metal roof.
